This project is devoted to the study of the semantic domain of color terms in the typological perspective.We propose a new approach to the study of this zone:in contrast to the popular method of analyzing what each color is responsible for, we would like to see how different languages describe and lexicalize particular kind of objects. Our results may serve, first of all, as some a proof of already existing knowledge about colors (for example, the existence of a specific set of those or other color hues in a particular language). Moreover, we may observe how different and similar languages are while describing and lexicalizing a certain situation concerning colors.
