In this project we analyze, on the one hand, whether the Distributional Semantics framework (Baroni et al. 2013) is applicable to lexical typological tasks, and, on the other hand, whether typological data could serve as a benchmark for distributional semantic models.
The research focuses on the semantic domains formed by the adjectives «tight» and «thick» within the framework of lexical typology.
This project is devoted to the study of the semantic domain of color terms in the typological perspective.
